As an affiliate of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP), the Silicon Valley Treasury Management Association (SVTMA) provides its members with professional and technical education in treasury management and related fields by means of presentations by subject matter experts. The SVTMA also offers a forum for networking and the exchange of information among its members. Members are encouraged to attend the luncheon meetings (held on the third Wednesday of the month for January, March, July, and November) or to send one substitute if the named member is unable to attend. Members are permitted to bring guests (for an added charge) to each meeting. CTP renewal credits are also available for those attending our educational lunches. Each May, the SVTMA hosts a dinner meeting in conjunction with the Peninsula Treasury Management Association (PTMA) and the San Francisco Treasury Management Association (SFTMA). Once a year, in conjunction with the Peninsula Treasury Management Association and the San Francisco Treasury Management Association, the SVTMA sponsors the San Francisco Treasury Symposium to provide a daylong series of educational lectures and presentations to enhance the skills and knowledge of treasury professionals. The Symposium offers an extensive slate of educational and networking opportunities. The sessions cover a broad scope of treasury issues affording participants the opportunity to gain insight from their professional peers on how different businesses approach treasury issues. Certified Treasury Professionals can earn up to eight CTP renewal credits for their participation in the Symposium. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
